I have been trying to use these commands and they just don't work. I do have CS-CoreLib installed and all it says in the server is that KamakaziKameleon issued server command: /sf guide. Would really appreciate if someone could help me.

Is there any message in the chat or in the console when you use that command? What should happen?

I think the slimefun version you chose does not match your server version

Indeed. This plugin can only be downloaded on the latest version in Github (not from Bukkit anymore)

You can only install plugins through our plugin browser.
Installing plugins from other sources like Github is not possible. -
