Ok so I want to play TolkienCraft 2 but it requires a map to play, but if I try to upload the map it is too large so is there any solution to this?

A default map with over 200mb?
You could try to shrink it with e.g. mcedit

There are many people who want to play modpacks without the default map.

I mean the point of the modpack is to play with the map that the modpack author made you download.Without the map you can only play with the mods, not the quests and other stuff the map offers.
Yes, that's true.
But, as I said: Many users would also like to play without the default map.
Don't ask me why they want to play without the default map.
