On my server, some commands like /give, /gamemode, /help etc aren't working. When I do them it says 'An internal error occurred while attempting to perform this command'. I have no idea why, please help

You're using Essentials. This plugin is not compatible with 1.12.2
Use EssentialsX instead and check if it s working then.
Also Essentials AntiBuild is causing many errors, you should try to fix it or remove it.
