I'm really new to Aternos, so I'm still learning whats possible compared to how I used to host servers on my PC. My current problem is trying to get plugins on my forge server. Usually I'd use something like Cauldron, but as that doesn't seem to be available - I tried craftbukkit, but couldn't get it to work. Is there a certain way of doing it? Thanks for any help!

no because cauldron they stopped updating it and forge bukkit is the same so aternos can't add an software that stopped from updating

Why we can't provide mods + plugins:
Forge does not support Plugins, only plugins. -> We can not change that.
Combining two softwares (like Craftbukkit + Forge) is technically not possible -> We can not change that.
Cauldron (A software which supports combining mods and plugins) is not updated anymore and abandoned.
Thermos (A software which supports combining mods and plugins) is not updated anymore and abandoned.
Sponge (more precisely "SpongeForge") (A software which supports combining mods and plugins) is a completely different software with a completely different API. You can not run plugins which work on spigot/bukkit on a sponge server and vice versa.
Due to this the popularity of Sponge is very low and many of the plugins you want to use are not available for sponge.

I wasn't aware that Cauldron was abandoned, as I've only ever used it for 1.7.10 - It's a shame really.
Is there no way the older versions of Cauldron could be added? Or atleast up to its last release? If it does get added maybe add a disclaimer saying why it wont be updated etc.
Reguardless thanks for your response. I heard from a friend that there was a forge mod that allowed plugins but I don't know. -
