friend can't join aternos forge server with right mods installed

    Hey there!


    My friend and I have a problem. He can't join our Aternos forge sever with several mods installed, even though he has installed the needed mods. Every time he tries joining the server it says "connection lost, server mod rejections: [the mods that are on the server, even though he has correctly installed them]". I don't have any problems joining the server, and it has no problems with the mods or anything. We already tried restarting minecraft, reinstalling the mods, restarting the server, restarting the computer and every other basic solution that could easily fix the problem, but nothing worked.


    Has anyone a clue what we need to do to make it work?

    edit: he did start with the right forge profile every time but somehow the problem solved itself, since after five minutes of waiting he was able to join. still thanks for the replies! :)

    I am also having the same issue, I am trying to use the Aether II mod with Forge and both of us have the same mods installed with Forge 1.7 and the required assistant mod (guilded games) but he can not join even his own server. I can join his server and I can host and join my own but he cant join either server. When he joins he will spawn in for a second but then it will kick him and say he does not have the right mods installed. He is launching the correct forge each time and he has the Aether II Minecraft screen or whatever so the mod is "active". Not sure what else to do. thanks!
