When I try to download the map on my server and enter it in singleplayer, I would spawn at the original spawn with no items whatsoever. I think this has to do with the playerdata, does anyone know how to fix this problem?

You need to manually fix up the playerdata files.
I would recommend to just cheat the items and fly to the location you logged out

Then you have to manually fix up the playerdata files.
Find out the uuid of the player on the server (you can see it when the player is joining in the console)
then find out the uuid on the client and rename the file containing the server uuid with your local uuid.
