So recently I started using aternos more, and a major issue i've come across is config files. Lots of packs are better suited to slight tweaking of config files, and yet this isn't an option at all, despite simply being text-document editing. Either give a valid reason, actually give us this highly in demand feature, or admit you are just too lazy to program it.

It's not that we are too lazy to develop something like this (tbh, most of the stuff is already ready: editor, file browser etc.)
It's not possible to customize modpacks due to the way how our system handles modpacks. And that part is not that easy to change, as it requires huge and fundamental changes which is not done in some days.
The rest is just an expense / benefit consideration. Why should we invest multiple days in something which may brake everything else and has the only benefit to allow file editing while we have an extra software (forge) which allows completely customized modding.
