Hi,
So I've wanting to create a Minecraft server in order to play online with my friends. The first option I came across to was running the server on one of our computers, however we cannot keep it running 24/7 so all of us can connect whenever we want.
After exploring for other options I found Aternos, and after doing some investigation it really looks like the more suitable option, however there are a few questions I would like to get answers to if doesn't mind you:
-Let's say I create the server from an account named BSC. After waiting the queue time and connecting the server would be running and any of my friends could connect to it (I will probably add a whitelist): how would they connect to it? From the Minecraft menu writing the IP provided by Aternos?
-Now, I'm not at home and my friends want to play. I understand they could log in in the account BSC and start the server on their own, is that right? Also the last progress of the world would be loaded since the server data is stored by Aternos, isn't it?
-I've seen adding mods to the server is not a problem. Where can I find the list of suitable free mods?
