Hello.
As seen in the title, I'm having this said problem. Before, the plugin files were actually empty for my server, hence why i decided to install EssentialsX as recommended by everyone. However, the file "essentials" and "essentialsgeoIP" appears out of nowhere when i played in the server which then caused errors. I've tried deleting them but they kept reappearing and the only best option was for me to delete EssentialsX, however, that is not what I want and I'd love to keep essentialsX files instead of essentials. Does anyone have the same problem and has found a solution to this?
Thank you in advanced.

Did you actually remove Essentials itself before installing EssentialsX
-
Hello, thank you for responding. As mentioned, the essentials files were never there before I added essentialsx. After I started the server, the logs then showed that there was a problem with the files "essentials", and when I checked the files, "essentials" and "essentialsgeoIP" then appeared. I stopped the server and removed them, restarted the server, and they reappeared again.
if i uploaded a world from an external source, could this maybe have something to do with it, depending on what map I uploaded? -

Try to remove the .jar files of the EssentialsGeoIP plugin and reload
-
There aren't any EssentialsGeoIP.jar files but there is EssentialsGeoIP. Tried removing that and restarted the server, but still occurred.
-
send a screenshot of the files section
-
Please note that I've removed the essentials and EssentialsGeoIP files and upon restarting, they reappeared.
