Whenever I launch the server, it says it is online, but won't let anyone join. I went to the log file, and it keeps saying this: Error opening whitelist file: whitelist.json. If you have any idea of how to fix this, please let me know. Thanks!

Hi, the same issue here!
At first, everything worked ok, the next session, me and my firend egamer4k had to be added manually to the whitelist ( console) and it helped. Now, we cannot join our server anymore; the minecraft says "you're not on the whitelist"...Here's my log:

They are there, can add nicknames either from there or form comman line => the same result.
Anyone else, some suggestions?

Stop the server, remove all players from the whitelist and add them again
