So earlier few months my friend and me played on my server and it worked perfectly. After a while we started playing again and both got problems with render distance. Our world is loading only somewhere arround maybe 8 chunks. We tried creating a new world and had the same issue with small render distance. (Sorry for my bad english)

Forget that question, what's the ip of your server

Make backups in https://aternos.org/backups/ and switch to https://aternos.org/software/papermc/ afterwards
Papermc has a higher render distance as it's optimized

Well because the default of the server view distance is setted to 10
