did you have the allow cracked players to join button enabled?

if you have that on, the server will be vulnerable to players with unofficial minecraft accounts (e.g. Tlauncher) with the same name as yours to access your server

cookiecreationz, it's not about the server being in offline mode (cracked), its about his account. offline mode only makes people be able to join the server with eg. mineshafter, tlauncher. it makes the server vulnerable to have a hacker be on an alt.

ooh same name as the owner's account. thats not possible tho, there is no way the hacker can get access to the server if he did make his name the same. it would kick the owner if the hacker had the same name and logged on.

actually the server matches the player's uuid, which will be always different. (if you have a own server ran on a computer you can see the ops file it lists the ops and it says the uuid with the players name.)

change the password of the aternos account. if the world is deleted, thats not your fault. if you want i can help you make a new world if it wasn't a survival world.

well it wouldn't hurt you guys if you used creative to get the items back
