Game kicks me when I Pick Block

Whenever I try to Pick Block on an Aternos server, the server gives me a "Connection Lost" kick, displaying the message "Invalid hotbar selection (Hacking?)". This, however, only happens when I try to Pick Block a block that isn't in my hotbar, and is instead in my inventory. Since I use Pick Block so much, I've been kicked for at least 10 times already. It happens with all items. Also, I can't think why the server would possibly be overloaded, as we're not doing all that much on it. Thank you for the help, though.
