Does changing options reset your world?

Im trying to allow some more people in my mc server(from 5 max to 10 max), and im wondering if this will delete the world, im pretty sure it wont but im just being safe, were pretty far in a galacticraft/buildcraft world. also, second question is does increasing the player count increase wait time or something?. thanks for any info
