Custom Player Models Mod not availible for Fabric

I wanted to install the Custom Player Models mod for Fabric 1.14. However, the mod only shows up on the mod search when using Forge for 1.12, even though the mod has a Fabric version. I suspect that this is because the game version on the mod's page still says 'Forge'.

I also made sure that the mod is approved on the Request Forum, which it is.

Is there any way to install the mod anyways?

I tried that and, as expected, it did not work. Custom Player Models is only available for Forge 1.12 and Fabric 1.14.

I downgraded back to https://aternos.org/software/v/fabric/1.14.4
