problem with a server

every time i try to use a certain ability in this mod it kicks me from the server and i cant rejoin unless i reset the server. this is what it says on screen when i'm kicked io.netty.handler.codec.EncoderException: java.lang.NullPointerException . is this an aternos problem or a mod problem?

i meant to add that this is with the mod wynd's bizarre adventure
