Every single time I restart the server the map and waypoints etc get completely reset and it makes finding the way home really hard, I've seen other forums posts about this but none answered my question.

Do you use the dynip (ends with aternos.host) or your own ip (ends with aternos.me)?

Then your minimap mod probably requires it to be installed on the server to save your data between sessions

Or it's just bad coding of the minimap you're using.
The normal aternos.me IP redirects to the DynIP, some bad minimap mods save their data based on DynIP and not on the IP entered in your list.
