New Server loading much faster than developed server

Hi!

So my an my friend have been playing on a server for quite a while now, so it's very developed and has many chunks loaded with many structures built. For some reason, loading up a brand new server only takes up around 2-5 minutes, however loading this server takes 170 minutes! Could someone please suggest a fix?

Yes, I am talking about the waiting time. The article doesn't answer why different servers take different times to load?
