Is it possible to add Biomes O plenty to an already existing pixelmon world without regenerating it and losing everything? Or could we save certain parts (like our houses with our items and pixelmon) to put into a newly generated world using BoP?

No
Or could we save certain parts (like our houses with our items and pixelmon) to put into a newly generated world using BoP?
This is possible with e.g. MCEdit, but I don't recommend doing that.
