How does Forge works?

Hi, I'm not understanding how Forge works.

Does Forge allows you to create a custom modpack? if the answer is yes, then I can create a modpack with personal mods on Forge and then create a server on aternos right? I'm so confused because I was looking for information on how to create a server with personal mods on aternos but the answers were always negative.

But you can not install a modpack on the software page and then customize it.

Thank you, now it's clear how it works. I have only one question more, some mods can't be added to my server, like thaumcrafy, it says "no compatible version found" it is possible? I tried every single forge version and nothing... Same for twilight forest. It is very strange cause they are big mods!

is there any way to see what mods i have installed? i mean, some mods have the same dependencies so I don't know how to check if I have already installed those dependencies or not... ty a lot!

Hi, I selected the 12.2 forge version and added the mods, but ther server crash during the loading, this is the log, it looks like i need 3 or 4 different version of forge, I can't understand, if I could add the mods, they should be compatible with the version that I have.
