I just started the server and it keeps saying stuff like, "illegal crafting recipe: wheat" and "fatally missing entries"

Try to delete the config folder on your server and on the client.
If the issues persist share your client log

Grab the file .minecraft/logs/latest.log and attach it to your post

There's no connection attempt to the server in this log

Make sure that you installed the same version of the mod zettaimagic on your server and computer.
If everything is right try removing that mod
