Modded Server Crashing - Stuck in the Nether

I've been a part of a modded server for quite some time now, and last time I played, I logged off while I was in the Nether. Now, whenever I try to join the server, I spawn into the Nether (which is now just a dark blue void without any loaded textures) and I get disconnected. I time out any time I try to connect afterwards, and I can only actually load into the world if the server was just opened. I've tried just about everything and nothing has worked. If the server host resets the Nether, what will happen to the stuff I currently have?
