The thread itself still exists. Just keep using that.

So when you delete a thread, it actually hides it from non-admins

Only moderators and admins can unhide it (undelete it)

There's no moderators nor admins, only helpers and team members for one.

Secondly, we can't "undelete" or rather restore them. Once it's deleted, it's deleted.
