  • I've been attempting to modify the loot that is spawned in the average Roguelike Dungeons dungeon. I've tried several methods I've seen online, but they all have one thing in common: Modifications to a "settings" folder. Downloading the mod to the Aternos server shows this "settings" folder and I've added the necessary files to it, but it does not appear that Roguelike Dungeons is reading the folder; like it's running off of some sort of default settings for the mod. I can change the config file associated with the mod and see the change(s) reflected in the game, so I know it isn't it being unable to read everything on the server.

Can anyone help tell me what I need to do to get Roguelike Dungeons to read the "settings" folder? More information is available upon request.

  • Hello Roman,

This is not a modpack, per se. I'm using several individual mods at once rather than a pre-built modpack (See image 'imageforroman'). In this case, for Roguelike Dungeons, I've artificially placed the files the mod developer has used in their "settings" folder into my "settings" folder (See image 'imageforroman_2') but I theorize that those added files aren't being used.

    "imageforroman"

    "imageforroman_2"

  • Yes.

I find it quite odd, now that I give it more thought, that the config file is able to be read and yet the other files are not. I feel like I may have mislabeled the issue's source. I'll do more research on adding the items and make sure I've done it right in the files. If I haven't, I'll make another thread. Sorry for taking up your time.
