Can't get bPermissions to work

Hello I've tried to get bPermissions to work, like add custom prefixes and suffixes but when I do nothing is changed and the names still stay white and normal. Nothing is added to the names. I have a cracked server, and I'm not sure what to do! also I hope im in the right section, sorry if I'm not.

Alot of plugins are not working properely to do with config.yml files
I'm pretty sure are trying to fix some!
Aternos are the best server hosting

You have to use a chat manager to be able to use prefixes and suffixes etc.
