Hello, so I have noticed a weird issue. So about a week ago, I had changed my MC username. When I tried joining the SMP I created with a friend, it said that I'm not on the whitelist, because I had changed my username. But when I put my new name on the whitelist and then joined, the game acted as if I was a completely new player (I had lost all of my stuff). Then, I registered (because the server has AuthMe) and then in chat it said that I have 2 accounts, then it displayed my old and new username. So I need help with this, because I really don't want to wait a month to change my username back, and who knows, it could not even work!
lost account because different username

This is probably because your server is in cracked, where playerdata is assiociated with name, not account.

You can try this:
1.) Stop your server (if online).
2.) Go to your world files: https://aternos.org/worlds/ and click on "Files"
3.) Open the "playerdata" folder.
4.) Find the UUID for your old name: https://top-minecraft.com/tools/offline-uuid.php
5.) Download the playerdata file <Old name UUID>.dat (ignore any .dat_old files)
6.) Find the UUID for your new name: https://top-minecraft.com/tools/offline-uuid.php
7.) Rename the downloaded file on your computer from <Old name UUID>.dat to <New name UUID>.dat
8.) Upload the file to your playerdata folder (confirm replacing the file)
9.) Start your serve r again.

I would do that but the problem is that it says "this folder is empty" whenever I open the world files.

nevermind it worked thanks!
