I know this sounds stupid, just bear with me. I'm very new to this.
I download the plugins and stuff an the website, then what do I do? 
How do I use plugins I installed?...

turn on your server op your self in the console, then do /gamemode 1 then do /plugin, then do /help [plugin] then
it will show all the commands
the config file will auto added once you turn your server and enter your own server
if this doesn't help, the aternos team will help you -
