mods are in game but not usable (fixed u can close this)

I have downloaded several fabric mods onto my server. The objects are in the creative menu and i can put them into my inventory, however when i right-click and such, nothing happens. Ive checked the versions and tried them in single-player. I dont know what to do, please help.

how do i check that? i am incredibly new to this so please forgive me i am sorry. i have downloaded the mods and when i enter the server the items are there, i just cant use them.

I looked at the logs and when it says "loading mods" there are only 3 things under it. "fabricloader 0.12.12," "java 17," and "minecraft 1.18.1." So i dont know what is going on there.

I removed everything and downloaded them again from the website menu. Now the server is having different issues. The server is crashing because my origins mod requires a specific version of the fabricAPI but no matter what version I use, it either doesn't change the problem or makes minecraft itself crash.

i tried 44, 43.1, 43, and 42.9. They all crashed saying that it was the wrong version.

So I am using the wrong Origins mod? Is there even a "right" one out yet? I'm using the newest one so I presume not. On curseforge it says its for 1.18.1.

I dont have Cardinal Components in the first place. Is it needed for any of my mods? Since its not available for my version, should I remove the mod(s) that need it? Im not sure which ones those are though.

I really need help as soon as possible, I have several people waiting on me I just wanted to add a few mods. Really I don't need any other than Origins, so if there's any issue because of a different mod I will gladly delete it.
