You can open, close the gates whenever you want you can set it to lava, end portal, nether portal, or water its a really cool plugin its a 1.8 plugin to open the gate do /gate open [NAME] to close it do /gate close [NAME] https://dev.bukkit.org/projects/ancient-gates-reloaded
