The version 8.4.0 of Pixelmon Reforged has a error in which the raids give essence but don,t let you catch the pokemon or get the reward. It can be solve changing the file tcg and quitting the option of getting essence in the raids but i can't find this file to change the option.

If you're using Pixelmon as modpack you can't change the configuration files. The modpack creator has to publish a bugfix release in this case.
If you're on a custom modded server you can modify the configuration files on the files page.
