EssentialsChat is not a own plugin. It comes with the essentials package.
So, if you install Essentials EssentialsChat will also be installed.

There is currently no possibility to combine mods an plugins.
The reason for that is that
a) there is currently no stable server software which allows this.
b) we only add mods / modpacks as they get distributed by the autor. So we won't change the server software etc.

I already did that today. But BlazingOne is the first one who experiences problems like this. So, if this would be a problem with spigot many more people would complain.

Our system reports that your server has gone away.
Please make sure, that your server is not overloaded with too many worlds or plugins.
Also make sure that you have installed the correct versions of all plugins.

Go to the files & plugin page and click on install plugins.
Also make sure that you have a server software installed which supports plugins.

The 1.8.8 update of essential is not official and not available through dev.bukkit.org or spigotmc.org.
But there are already alternatives you can install.

We are not responsible for plugin updates, please contact the plugin developers to update it.

So, you can suggest modpacks which contains Flans as normal.
We just can't add the single mod.
