There is an connection attempt but i can't see any error in it. Can you re-share your log after connecting to the server and getting timed out error
I Somewhat connect to the server. I cannot see players but they can see me, interact with items like chests and furnaces, nor can i type in chat. After about 30 seconds i disconnect with the error "Internal Exeption: java.net.SocketExeption: Connection reset"

After some further experimenting i found i fixed the problem by using a vpn but i can only connect using a vpn if i try to connect without one the problem continues

It might be an internet issue. Maybe share your server log and client log:
1. open your minecraft installation path (enter %appdata%/.minecraft in the file explorer )
2. open the logs folder
3. open the "latest" or "latest.log" file with a text editor
4. copy and paste the content of the file to https://mclo.gs/
5. send the link heresorry for the 16 hour wait heres the log https://mclo.gs/pcmlwTJ, i should also metion i can connect to any server that isnt aternos hosted

Are you using a modded server?
No i am not the server i made is vanilla the one im trying to connect to has plugins thats it

This problem came to light when i was trying to join a friends aternos server. I would be in the world and moving around for them but after a short amount of time I would disconnect and it would say for my friend who owns the server that i had timed out yet other people could see me and i couldnt see them. After this had occurred i started up a new aternos server to see if I could connect to that one and the same issue happened where i would be in the server for a short amount of time and then disconnect saying i timed out in the server logs. I have tried deleting player data file and flushing my dns also tried changing dns but none of those worked.
