  • This problem came to light when i was trying to join a friends aternos server. I would be in the world and moving around for them but after a short amount of time I would disconnect and it would say for my friend who owns the server that i had timed out yet other people could see me and i couldnt see them. After this had occurred i started up a new aternos server to see if I could connect to that one and the same issue happened where i would be in the server for a short amount of time and then disconnect saying i timed out in the server logs. I have tried deleting player data file and flushing my dns also tried changing dns but none of those worked.

Are you using a modded server?

  • It might be an internet issue. Maybe share your server log and client log:

    1. open your minecraft installation path (enter %appdata%/.minecraft in the file explorer )
    2
    . open the logs folder
    3
. open the "latest" or "latest.log" file with a text editor
    4. copy and paste the content of the file to
    https://mclo.gs/
    5. send the link here

I Somewhat connect to the server. I cannot see players but they can see me, interact with items like chests and furnaces, nor can i type in chat. After about 30 seconds i disconnect with the error "Internal Exeption: java.net.SocketExeption: Connection reset"

We are aware of issues on the public internet that are causing connection problems for some players. Specifically, players are affected whose connection takes a certain path through the internet to reach our servers. We have passed the problem on to the appropriate organizations. Unfortunately, however, we have to say that these are often lengthy processes, and we cannot speed them up. We are already evaluating possible approaches to work around the problem, at least for our users. However, neither you nor we can solve the underlying problem.

it's likely that the responsible ISP will fix that soon

if not please follow the steps in this article:https://support.aternos.org/hc…bly-closed-by-remote-host
