Afaik, it's also an ordinary curseforge/forge mod.
True, but the Carpet mod (which is necessary for the Carpet-Extra mod to function) isn't available in the Forge section, so it was kinda pointless
Today, while browsing through the list of mods available for Forge server, I found out that Carpet-Extra (the addon of Carpet mod), which is a Fabric mod, is placed in this section somehow. Yet, when I checked on the Fabric mod list, it is nowhere to be seen. Luckily though, it seems that the main Carpet mod is in the Fabric mod list.

https://aternos.org/addons/a/cursefabric/carpet
Can an Aternos dev correct this mistake by moving Carpet-Extra to the Fabric section, please? Because it makes no sense to have an incompatible Fabric mod in the Forge section
Thank you,
Piggy
There are some available on in the list of plugins that Aternos porvides, like VoteLink (pretty easy to config)
Hmm, strange, if the client and the server are the same version, it shouldn't says that
Check your server again, it might be in 1.14.4 snapshot (happened to silly me once - derp moment )
You should try the available modpack first, because some stand-alone mods are not compatible with each other, especially since you are kinda new to modded minecraft
I recommend IndustrialBox modpack (ATL) or Automaton modpack (Curse) if you love machines and automation.
And CrazyCraft 3.0, if you want a crazy world with dimensions to explore!
Lay of the land modpack is quite a good one too, with both aspects mix into each other!
Probably due to some mods that are incompatible with each other
Best solution? Do what Mc88Donalds said
as already stated in Matthias post it is listed in the features it will give
Yeah, I was having a headache while reading this whole thread, so I might have missed that
Hmm, a serverlist for aternos server sound quite like a good idea to me!
Moreover, if there is an option (a button) for enabling/disabling our server's status on the serverlist (ex. toggling between Public/Private) would be nice
So last time i tried playing pixelmon with my friend who has premium minecraft the same error happened Internal Exception: io.netty.handler.codec.EncoderException: javalang.OutOfMemoryError and then i tried a cracked server with another friend he got the same error do cracked servers not work and last time it wasnt a cracked server and it still didnt work or people just cant join my server because the modpack is to big.
I had this in the past, pretty sure this is some kind of client-side errors due to the "OutOfMemory". Ask your friends to change the RAM Limit on their client (Pixelmon Reforged recommends 4GB, but a minimum 2GB can get to 20fps)
*Note: From what I'm have seen, this mod has been requested by multiple people, so if the Aternos's staff team has read them, please ignore the "mod" part skip to the "modpack" part (Also, I'm sincerely sorry that you have the posts which are similar to this)
*Mod:
- Name: TekTopia
- Link (curseforge) : curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/tektopia
- Description: Improve the old village, villager path-finding system and add new villager professions, building types and more
- Wiki (for more info): sites.google.com/view/tektopia
*Modpack (alternative) :
- Name: TekTopiaPack
- Link (also curseforge) : curseforge.com/minecraft/modpacks/tektopia-pack
- Description: Contains only one mod (TekTopia)
- Reasons (for choosing this rather than the stand-alone mod)
+ The creator (Tango Tek) has just released the mod for the public, so the hype from the fanbase is still pretty high
+ Similar to some mods (like Pixelmon Reforged 6.0.0 and older), adding TekTopia as a modpack will create a limitation on customization, but is going to prevent the incompatibility situation with some other mods that happens when added as a stand-alone mod (a.k.a less issues for your staff team do deal with in the future)
And that concludes my request and opinion. Now, I want to hear your respond
Sincerely,
Piggy
Nice, just making sure the staff team knows about this for good, or many people will get stuck in queue.
... (also for myself since I can only play around peak hour )
Recently, I got this screenshot from a friend...
Is this a bug of some sort? Or a intentional feature?
Because I remembered pretty sure that we couldn't do this in older versions of Minecraft...
Edit: For people who think that I'm joking... NO, this is an Aternos server, that's why I made this post -_-
Thanks for replying, you may close this thread since it's not needed anymore
Recently (actually, it was only since two days ago) that I noticed that we can access the "world", "world_nether" and "world_the_end" folder in the server's main directory. (the "world" folder works with any server like Vanilla, Bukkit, Spigot, Forge,... while the "world_nether" and "world_the_end" folders are exclusives for Bukkit and Spigot servers)
- "world" folder: https://aternos.org/files/world/
- "world_nether": https://aternos.org/files/world_nether/
- "world_the_end": https://aternos.org/files/world_the_end/
So can you guys grant us the access to the bukkit.yml and the spigot.yml files in the same directory aswell? Because:
+ bukkit.yml: provides some customizable settings
+ spigot.yml: even more settings (mostly world settings, attributes settings and some message settings)
P.S: Although I have seen request similar to this, I just wondering if it was possible
