Luckperms should have zero issues running on magma, given you use a version of luckperms that runs on 1.12.2

And yes, we can only update / add plugins from spigot, bukkit and poggit

As far as I know, any old logs are stored in .tar.gz, which means you can't open them. Since you can't download files either, you can't do anything with the old logs. latest.log is the only "usable" log file (without being able to download etc.), and latest.log is displayed on the logs page, meaning if it's empty, the logs page is too.
Tho, if it's always empty, I think there might be a problem with your server, what's your aternos username
