Currently we can't allow our users FTP access.

Mind that the original Essentials plugin only works up to Minecraft version 1.7.10. For newer Minecraft versions you have to use alternatives such as EssentialsX or Bssentials.

Make sure you configure PermissionsEX correctly before using it. Admin permission has to be given through the server console.

Make sure to install plugins while your server is offline. If it's installed and visible in the file browser, but not in game, check the server console log to find out why the plugin is not activated.

Download and save your world to your computer. Reinstall your server and try to start it again then.
