The original Essentials plugin only works up to Minecraft version 1.7.10. For newer Minecraft versions you have to use alternatives such as EssentialsX or Bssentials.

I already checked it, your server just stops because it takes too much time to load. Either it's just your server or, if it applies to every server with this mod pack, @Roman can adjust its settings so that it is able to start.

Seems like your server takes too much time to start. Download and save your world to your computer if you need it. Maybe it helps to reinstall the server and then try to start it again.

You can't change the server.properties.
Because i cannot regen the old one and cannot delete it becasue it is set to default.
You can create a new world by clicking the "New / Upload" button.
