My server crashed because it took so long to start. I only use a few mods. My friend think it's because the map is to large. is there any way to reduce a map file size ? Please help me

what's your server address?

thats probably because of your world... so one way to probably fix is
1. try to optimize world....
2. remove resource packs
3. try to change version
4. make som backups so u can see if the server was ok before
5. Try to delete the other dimensions not in use like the nether and the end
6. delete som unsued playerdata (even if its small it may help but small) -
