Player Lag

I have a problem with player lag/ animal lag. The animations of both playera and animals are laggy. Its not me its the server. How do i fix this.

Make sure not overload your server, e.g. do not generate too many chunks and don't build large mob farms or complex redstone circles. If you use plugins, do not install too many.
