Is this possible? Functions/Advancement

In 1.12 theres 1 thing thats been added and another thing thats been changed but is a bit better than it was before which is Functions and advancements, The main thing i would like to see added it the functions because i like doing commands but i dont like to keep putting command blocks in my world to do the commands, do you think its possible to get that added at all?

These scripts are stored in the world/data folder. To edit them just download the map and add/edit the script you want then upload the map again.

We've already thought about adding a simple editor for these scripts, but we haven't made a decision yet.
