The problem:
My friends and I were playing on a server and for some reason at some point everyone got a speed effect (there wasn’t an actual effect, we just all became quicker) and haste (again, no effect, just able to break blocks quicker). I have no clue how this happened.
What I’ve tried:
One of them said that this began shortly after she punched a spider which had the speed effect but I highly doubt that’s relevant in any way. We play on PaperMC with a few datapacks (specifically Vanilla Tweaks) and no plugins. I tried removing the datapacks which doesn’t fix anything. I’ve also tried just giving myself speed/slowness and removing it with commands but the issue persists.
Any ideas on what to do?
