You have to configure the path of the factions config in the mcore config

Setflatfile to flatfile://plugins/factions

Delete the Faction folder then

No need to delete faction file or the faction plugin will not work.

First, you will need to install the Vault plugin on your server to interface between Factions and your economy plugin of choice. Next, you'll need to make sure economy is enabled in Factions by running the command /f config econEnabled true.
