I'm trying to connect to servers and my firewall is blocking it but I can't find the port range for aternos anywhere, so if someone knows that'd be a big help! Is there a staff member that can help?

When you have the server on, there is a "connect" button that gives you an alternate IP to join with a port. Keep in mind this changes every time you open the server. My recommendation is to turn off the firewall when you want to play, but do so at your own risk.
Edit: grammar
-
Well the thing is I can't turn off my firewall but I'm trying to join someone else's server, not my own
-
Can you specify what error is occurring specifically?
-
The timed out one
-
This one

If this is your friend's server, I recommend you try the other IP (which he can obtain by him clicking the "connect" button on the server page). It should be an odd link with a port at the end. If that doesn't work, I'm afraid I can't help further. Maybe any development or helper can jump in here?

ok
-
It doesn't work

Normally you don't need to change anything on your firewall to connect to our servers.
Do you have any outbound port blocks? Blocking outbound connections absolutely nonsense.
-
I may
-
yeah I do
-
-
Well
-
Turning off my firewall won't happen, I get attacked way too much
-
Did you try, to put the IP on the whitelist?

Type Firewall in the search box in the start menu and select "Windows Firewall with advanced security", in the middle section of the window click `Windows Firewall Properties. Go to your profile tab and switch from allow to block. Then go to outbound rules and allow any programs you need to access the internet.

Which outgoing ports are they? I can't unblock all of them sadly
