1st Official Post

    Features you can add:

    • Access with FileZilla
    • More than one E-mail in one account Examples: the account can login to Gmail and the same account login to twitch.
    • Root access for server Example: /root/plugins, /root/log, /root/server.properties etc..
    • Show Baned Player in the player list 
    • New ips Example: name.aternos.org, name.aternos.net,  name.aternos.team, play.name.aternos, mc.name.aternos etc..
    • Show state (TPS, used ram etc...) of server on https://aternos.org/server/
    • Do not show plugin numbers on My Server Page
    • Upload Plugin with VirusTotal
    • add Create Folder button
    • Upload Schematics or JPG to Plugin Folder
    • Add WaterFall
    • Add ANSI Convert To UTF-8 Features
    • Adding Thread New Languages Example: Turkish Arabic Franch etc...
    • Server.properties Add them to Settings. Resource Pack, Enable recon etc...

    There is nothing that can not be done with 1 gb ram. That's proving it.

    That's really not needed. Also this would confuse many users.

    Not possible for security reasons. Also many users use our service because it's easy to use. Adding this may confuse people.

    Many plugins bring their own banning system and overwrite the default ban-system integrated in minecraft. In order to make this working we would need to integrate all ban systems. That's just not worth the effort.

    That's your opinion. Some other users even want to display a complete plugin list. I think we have a good compromise.

    Virustotal isn't made for automated file screening. Also the main problem is that people could bypass our system regulations. Such things are not detectable by virus scanners.

    The community forum is made to communicate with other Aternos users and the Aternos staff. If we would add all these languages here everyone would write in his mother language and no one is able to communicate with each other.

    You can add resource packs with plugins. Why do you need rcon, use our web console?

    Everyone gets tired of taking the same ip but we do more with the new ips.

    I stumbled accross Waterfall which claims to be an optimized version of BungeeCord. This is apparently what the /r/2b2t server uses so it has some merit.


    Stability: Waterfall aims to be stable. We will achieve this through making the code base testable and discouraging practices that lead to proxy lag.


    Features: Waterfall aims to include more features than canonical BungeeCord.


    Scalability: Waterfall should be able to handle a large number of concurrent players, given a reasonably modern CPU, memory, and good network connection.

    There is this character in Turkish (ç ü ğ ş ö ı). Does not support ANSI.
