i have some questions why aternos does not supporting uploading you say to me its for some security reasons

    what is the security reasons?

    1) It would be possible to upload plugins which can bypass our system regulations(like changing players). And no, a anti virus software wouldn't detect that. (However we already found a way to detect such cases, but this is not so stable yet)

    2) In general plugins are java applications. They are not limited in what they are doing and what they are allowed to do. So it would be possible to write bots and other "bad" things as bukkit plugin. On server start bukkit or spigot would load that plugin and it could do what it wants.

Also this won't be detected by anti virus in most cases, as this stuff is very custom.

    3) (That's my opinion, not Aternos) Most of the people want to upload premium plugins. However most of them are just downloaded illegally from e.g. blackspigot.

The plugin creators put a lot of work into the development of their plugins and just want to reward themself a bit. (I know, sometimes the prices for plugins are very high, but these people can't develop good plugins.)

I think it's a shame for the plugin creators if some *** buy the plugin and upload it somewhere for free.

(And in most cases people write on it that they developed it themselves)

is it like i can edit a plugin that change the ram of server i want or what?

No, this is not possible by the way java works.

    and this consumes your resources?

Depending on the type of "bad software" it would be possible to consume the resources on the host system and therefore slow down all other minecraft servers running on the same machine.

We already have systems to regulate the consumption of resources per minecraft server, but we don't have to take the chance.

second why you don't add paid membership to earn some money and some people wants more performance

Our intention is to provide minecraft servers for free, completely free.

We want that all users have the same opportunity to use our service and we don't want to classify our users into groups of paid members and non-paid members.

It is also a unique selling proposition.

All the noteworthy hosters that also offer free minecraft servers are paid hosters that offer upgrades for money.

We don't want to condemn this but we just do it differently, in our own way.

And at least so far this decision has never had a negative effect.

third some times you deny the plugin or mod request and say denied but i don't know the reason

Yes, we have some internal guidelines which are not public. If resources do not fit these guidelines we just "Deny" them.

However most of the resources that are just "Denied" we're only created and never updated.

They have just one version available, are buggy, bad rated etc. I just write "Denied" because I don't feel like the annoying discussions afterwards which nevertheless don't lead to any other decision.

I propose you a solution to this problem: if some files can bypass the sistem and/or the antivirus, why not allow to upload only certain files?

For example only .mp3, .yml etc ...
