I already have a mods folder as well as the subsequent folder that go with it and would like to be able to upload them to my server, mainly to save time of going through you server list but also due to about half of my mods not being on your list, at the very least have an option to upload my mods folder as a whole file to be added to your list so i don't have to request them 1 at a time, i would also like the option to download the files from the server so i can give them to friends and make set up on their end easier

And yes Misio. I see you T-Posing in the corner all sad because you don't get to upload your files. Tough luck

If theres a problem with maybe security or that sort of thing then give us the option to upload files and then have them be approved by staff or somthing?

That's exactly what the request system is
If the criteria in the request is filled correctly, then the file is added. If not, then it isn't.

I believe curseforge is the only compatible one with the system

can others be suggested to be made compatible?

I don't necessarily believe it's their choice if it's compatible or not, rather it's if the plugin/mod software itself has the functionality and freedom to be compatible (had no other way of saying that oof)

What do I have to do with this? Lol? Weird

- General file upload is not possible due to security (and some other) reasons. Checking each file which gets uploaded is not possible as we can not check the individual uploads for thousands of users each day. An automated process (like virus scanners etc.) is not technically not possible for now as they would not detect what we are looking for.
- For this we have a general check/request system: Plugin/Mod/Modpack Anfrage . We check a mod once, and add it if it is possible. On top this type of system helps to have a clean mod list and helps us to minimize problems people can have with their server, as our users can not even install "rubbish" mods to their server which could cause problems. We need that as people come to us if they have problems and we already have a huge number of support requests each day.
- Our system integrates so called "APIs" to integrate mod/plugin hubs and to download resources automatically from these sites. Websites which don't have such an API can not be integrated. Also pages like 9minecraft won't be added in general as they do not have a good reputation.
