Why can not you put mods from other pages other than curseforge.com?

I would like that you could put mods that have their own page or that are not in curseforge.com, it is that there are many mods that I like and I would like more people but that are not in curseforge.com.

From a technical view we could solve that, however we can not solve that for all those mods.

The effort to integrate such sites into our system is much bigger than the benefit.

Why can not you put mods from other pages other than curseforge.com?
