. make the servers able to be turned on for friends so if the owner is not online then the other guy can play .

Oh, Do you mean 24/7? Well... If you are talking about 24/7 servers then look:
24/7 servers are not provided in the Aternos system. Even if we did that, it would not work very well.It is not possible to create 24/7 aternos servers for free.

Just give them username/email and password and they can access your aternos account and turn the server on whenever they want.

We already have such a feature in development, however we don't know yet when we can release this feature.

SAO_owo the feature you are looking for is in development, meaning they are making it right now. It may have a few problems with it, which is why they haven't released it yet.
