  • Dear Aternos Team,

today I was very happily suprised to see that you had added the mod I was asking to be added for so long. I can't but thank you ever so much for doing so. However, there appears to be a slight problem. The mod, in question, is the Revolution RPG mod, which, as far as I'm aware, requires csv-files to properly work. For whatever strange reason, the mod does not seem to generate nor access this file-type on your servers, essentially making the mod have almost no effect whatsoever. It's a shame, really. I hope I'm not asking too much of you by asking you to look into it and find a solution. Just for the record, manually creating csv-files and pasting their contents from my hard drive did not resolve the issue.

    Thanks in advance!

    Again, with best regards,

    afanguy

  • You can create .csv files in our file browser

I did indeed try that. I don't think I did anything wrong, but it doesn't seem to work even when I create those files myself (even after a soft and hard restart). Thanks for replying so soon, by the by!

  • The console doesn't reveal anything other than me joining the server. From my understanding, the mod reads all info for "custom" mobs and items from the config files (which I did put in the config folder respectively, just where said files are placed on one's hard drive when playing in singleplayer), but it appears to be unable to read said config files for some strange reason. The mod sadly isn't very well documented, although I could find out that each of its config files is used for different things. Without the config files though, the game just plays like normal Minecraft.

I'm afraid I can't be of much more help than that. It's strange though, because I've tried again and again and I am afraid that the server may just be unable to read the filetype for whatever reason. At least that's the only thing I can think of it being.

  • Sorry for the late reply, here's the log: https://mclo.gs/yggQcFX

I find it strange that this log says it's running vanilla Minecraft, despite the server itself clearly saying it's running Forge 1.7.10. I'll try looking into this myself until I hear from you again.

  • Issue resolved! While I was not responsible for it, the mod was somehow no longer on the server. It could be possible that it was somehow deleted by itself. Sorry for taking time out of your days for this thread. Thanks for the help!
