  • I was messing around with gamerule for a gamemode I was making in my server, when I set the gamerule randomTickSpeed to an absurdly high amount. Which caused me to time out, and now every time I join I can't break blocks and it eventually times me out or throttles connection. The tickspeed I set the gamerule to was around 99999, I'd say. Anyways, I found a thread that said to set the tickspeed to three. However, when I activate this in game, nothing happens and it eventually times out. I did this with console, it says "Gamerule randomTickSpeed is now set to: 3", but it doesn't fix the problem as the game still lags and times me out. The thing is, I have a big hunch the fact that I'm not able to set the gamerule in console because of the multiple worlds of the multi-verse plugins. Is there anyway to set my world back before I made the world unplayable? Or at least make it so it doesn't time me out anymore and fixes the problem? Thanks!

  • For anyone that finds this thread, I was able to get back my server. Basically, I downloaded the world that I set the tickspeed to 99999 and put it in singleplayer, turned the tickspeed back to 3, then uploaded it back to the multiverse world.
